((OOC: Sorry Tamaki- but this is a secret meeting away from your character... Lol. Feel free to read it though Chi.))
This was the first time Haruhi had called a club meeting. Usually it was Tamaki or Kyouya that called it. Occasionally Mori and Hunny held one and the Twins had done a few also. But this was the first time Haruhi had held one. She had sent them all text messages that there was a meeting being held at lunch in the club room and for them not to tell Tamaki. Thank goodness the twins had let her borrow their mobile so that she could send them the messages. It was well known fact that Tamaki always ate in the cafeteria. He may well find it odd that none of the Host Club were there but more than likely a group of people would ask him to join them. Tamaki was so popular in the school the cafeteria should keep him busy. If not, and he did appear at the Third Music Room they were to act as if they'd sent him a message and he hadn't received it.
This was a meeting to discuss Tamaki's upcoming birthday and the plan Haruhi had thought up for it. She was ridiculously quite excited and a little worried. Her idea wasn't very normal and not what you would expect. She was worried at the others' reaction to her idea and yet excited that they might think it a good idea and they went ahead with planning it. She had a feeling that this time her idea would be received with good comments... She hoped.
Sitting at one of the longer tables in the Third Music room, she had set out cake and commoner coffee for everyone and waited for the group to turn up. She had ran to the room so that she was here first. If not they would all wonder where she was- she was after all the one to organise the meeting...
Shuffling her feet a little she looked up at the clock and waited...

Hikaru glanced at his phone one last time to make sure this was right. Haruhi, of all people, was calling a meeting. He somewhat understood not wanting Tamaki there(he was 'a little' rambunctious at these things). The elder twin stolled down the hall way and put his phone away, shrugging. He certainly wasn't going to worry about the King not being there. It might give him a better chance at gaining the chocolate-eyed girl's affections. He could only hope, though.
Reaching the large gilded door, he pushed it open and wandered inside. It seemed a little tense in the room, what with the female host sitting at a large table by herself. He noticed the cake and drinks set out and almost rush to sit beside her. He smiled down, muttered a small thanks, and took a sip of his commoner's coffee with a pleased sound. Mind if I ask why we're here before the others get here? He asked, putting the cup back on its saucer with a small clink.
His tawny eyes drifted to the petite girl and he smiled gently. As much as he would love to insist that she should like him more than the blonde that wouldn't be showing up, he realized -- and was told a few times -- that one couldn't force another to feel a certain way. Much like that first 'date' that he remembered so well. She hadn't felt awkward while having her friend around when he insisted that she should. There were a lot of things he should have done differently back then. If only he had known his own feelings.
He sighed inwardly and hoped to get an answer from Haruhi, but didn't expect it. It was a group meeting so she would probably wait so she didn't have to repeat herself every time someone came in.

Haruhi smiled at Hikaru as he came in. Being Haruhi, over the last year she still hadn't worked out how and why that smile affected certain members of the group. To her it was just her smile- she'd had it since she was born and it hadn't changed much- what was so special about it?
Reaching out she took the plate of cakes and handed it to Hikaru, offering him one of the delicacies laid out on the hand-painted china.
"It'll be easier to tell you all at once when the others are here. They'll be here soon so you wont have to wait long..."
Gx ((OOC: Rubbish post but I wanted to acknowledge Hikaru's arrival.))

OOC|| If you like, to make it easier, you're welcome to say that Kaoru is toddling along behind Hikaru when you start a post in a thread... I don't mind ^_^ ||
A mop of auburn hair peeped around the main door into the cafeteria, golden-brown eyes blinking quickly as the younger Hitachiin twin surveyed the room in front of him. Ah, there he is! Kaouru thought as he spotted the blonde Tamaki with a group of people surrounding him - mostly adoring fans, as usual. With a small grin on his face, Kaoru retreated from the doorway. Kaoru had been outside in the school grounds, on his way to the cafeteria to look for Hikaru and Haruhi, when he had received a text message from Haruhi to "check that Tamaki-senpai is in the cafeteria, then come to the Third Music Room". His curiosity instantly aroused, Kaoru had continued on his way to the cafeteria and done exactly as asked.
Of course, Kaoru was still interested as to why Haruhi wanted to make sure Tamaki was in the cafeteria. Was it just him that she had asked to come to the Third Music Room, or had all of the Host Club received similar messages? Before he realised it, Kaoru was outside the room that the Host Club used for meetings. Without hesitating, he pushed open the door and stepped inside, a small unhappy look on his face as he saw Hikaru with a cup of 'commoners coffee'.
"No fair... I got lumbered with spying on our Lord, and here you are sipping away at commoners coffee..."
OOC-again-|| Sorry that was rubbish... o.O ||

Haruhi laughed.
"Sorry Kaoru- I knew you'd do a good job at being sneaky though." She laughed again. "And that isn't an insult!"
Haruhi was much more informal and casual with the group now, after a year. She felt comfortable in teasing them, joining in jokes and having a laugh with them. She was still Haruhi- still treated as the newest member of the group and still subdued most of the time, but she was at least now, officially part of the gang. Unquestionably.
She quickly served Kaoru another "commoner" coffee and handed him the cake plate. Just a few more to arrive now...
Gx ((OOC: So short and rubbish but I have a feeling I'll be doing short rubbish posts until everyone is here! Lol...))

[[Sorry, severe impulse that needs to be satiated!]]
Hikaru couldn't help his heart skipping a beat when Haruhi smiled at him. He liked and disliked how this girl made him react. It was so different from what he was used to when it came to the opposite gender. He and Kaoru were so used to recieving love notes and tearing the girl down when meeting her. He sighed inwardly, also knowing that the smile meant nothing but to be kind. She was too kind sometimes.
The Hitachiin glanced over his shoulder when he heard his little brother entering. He grinned widely and chuckled. He lifted his cup and cheered Kaoru before taking a long lanquid sip. His attentions shifted once again to Haurhi as she offered the cakes. He wasn't one for sweets on most occations, but this seemed special so he would indulge just this once. Doumo, He said in a soft tenor and popped a treat into his mouth.
Turning to the other twin, he spoke around the cake. Did you see everyone else, yet? He was hoping the other auburn haired male had; he was antsy to find out why the entire group had to sneak around Tamaki, it was usually just he and Kaoru doing any kind of sneaking since they were the pranksters of the club.

Hunny sat in one of the schools large drawing rooms, quietly studing for an upcomming maths exam. Aside from Karate, maths was hunny's favourite and strongest subject which he did very well in, yet he knew he should still study.
He could hear some younger girls from Haruhi's class behind him squealing and he could feel their eyes at the back of his head. But he didn't mind, he was used to it. However, these two girls always seemed slightly shy and never really aproached him, but rather sat behing him and chatting amongst themselves. Every so often Hunny would catch a sentence or two such as "Aww, look at him studing! So adorable..." or "Awwe, cutie!!"
Hunny would have liked to talk to the girls sometime, they seemed nice. But they did not attend the host culb, and he felt too shy to approach and ask their names. Maybe Haruhi would know them.
A buzzing sound went off and Hunny quickly reached into his bag and pulled out his cell phone. There was a message from Haruhi. It said that she was holding a host club meeting at lunch and to keep it a secret from Tamaki.
Hunny read and re-read the message carefully. Haru-chan had never heald a meeting before, and what did she want to hide from Tamaki? Hunny looked at the large analogue clock that was displayed above the enterance of the drawing room. It was only two minutes until lunch started. He might as well get going now. He put his cell phone back in his bag and got together all his study notes, Usa-chan and books, stood and left the drawing room.
As he passed the girls who were behind him, he smiled shyly at them and softly said "Bye bye". The girls turned to him smiling and whispered "bye" before turning to eachother and giggling.
Hunny made his way down a grand flight of stairs and towards the third music room. He didn't pass too many people on the way, as most were in the cafeteria or classrooms, begining their lunch.
At last, he reached the doors of the third music room and entered. Haruhi, Kaoru and Hikaru were already there, sitting at the table, drinking coffee and eating some cake.
"Hi Haru-chan, Hika-chan, Karu-chan" he smiled at them as he took a seat across from Kaoru with Usa-chan and helped himself to a slice of cake.

The sun glittered into the room, leaving a patch of shadow near by. Two reflections of a pair of glasses glinted with the upcoming sunlight. A small smirk rode on his lips as Kyoya stepped out from the sunlight. Like a demon entering the human realm, or a Vampire making its entrance of horror and fright.
Kyoya stood before them, a nice smile, his jet black hair, clip board in hand.
"Good day everyone." He greeted smoothly and coldly. "From the looks of it, Tamaki should not be around." He figured.

Haruhi smiled but felt a chill go down her back. That guy had a habit of suddenly appearing from the shadows. After a year it still made the hairs on her arms stand on end. Looking around she realised that everyone was here- Mori was busy with Kendo class and Hunny would fill him in. Looking down at her hands she suddenly felt nervous. It was odd- she was about to suggest something that they had probably never done before. But she thought that it would be perfect for Tamaki-senpai's birthday.
"Hello Kyoya-senpai. I'm glad you're hear. I wanted to talk to you all about something really important." Taking a calming breath she started. "It's Tamaki's birthday in a few weeks, as I'm sure you all know, and he's planning a very large and probably expensive-" she paused to look over at Kyoya. "-birthday celebration that will involve the whole school. Last time I saw him he was talking about an elephant..."
Haruhi looked up and into the faces of the Host Club. "But I thought that it might be nice to hold something more personal just us, maybe Renge as well- just close friends, rather than the entire school." She paused to consider her words and then said- "What I thought of doing isn't wont cost a lot of money-" she looked over at Kyoya "- and would be something that I think Tamaki-senpai would like." She paused again and then said to finish her small little speech- "I thought that he might like a small, and as you would call it "commoner" disco party. With traditional-" she raised her fingers to make quotation marks "-"commoner" food and games and music." She paused again wondering how her idea would go down with these rich and privelged heirs to great fortunes. "I thought it might be something all of us could enjoy without having to be Hosts all the time... What do you think?"

Kyoya nodded as she spoke, writing on the clipboard he held in his hands. "Hmmm well it will be different. I see no problem with this at all." He figured as a small smile formed on his face as he looked to Haruhi and back to the clip board.
After a few more strokes of writing, Kyoya completely looked away from the board and took a few steps of pacing. "I believe it all depends on the others and as to what they think of this idea. I find it just as good as any. Its simple and not too expensive." From the sounds of it, all Kyoya cared about was the expenses, Being the way he is. He looked around the room at the others to see what they had to say on this.
