There was nothing about the hallways at Ouran Acadamy to sugest anything was tacky. Up on the walls were extravagent artwork, some even dating back 400 years, framed in the top quality oak, gold rimmed frames. Then there were the sculptures like statues and vases similar to the one Haruhi had accidently broken her first time meeting the host club. Every here and there, a beautiful and delicate chandelear hung from the roof, providing light throughout the school on the darker, overcast and colder days.
But ther wern't being used today, as the sun was out and shinning, providing a cascade of perfect light across the school grounds and through the school's windows. It was a beautiful day, as they had been getting a lot of them lately.
Hunny smiled looking at the beautiful weather outside. He loved the sunshine and wished that he could go outside and play now, but he knew that his maths class would be starting in a matter of minutes and it was better he stay indoors for now.
He wondered what the other host club members would be doing right now. Maybe they were having a break too. He knew Mori was busy ((OOC: Hunny needs a Mori)) and the others may be studing. As he thought of all this someone came around the corner...

Haruhi deep in thought almost collided with Hunny as she came around a corner. Stopping abruptly, and making a quick divert she managed not to run him over. Though he was older than she was and she still called him by the appropriate "senpai" term, she couldn't get over the fact that he looked as if he should be in elementary school.
"Hunny-senpai!" She said in surprise and delight and then looked around for Mori who wasn't about. Obviously Kendo class was keeping him busy again- it was the only class Mori took that Hunny didn't- if the two of them were apart then that was usually the reason. She looked down at him and smiled. "How are you? I have English class in a moment but I can keep you company till then if you like?" She smiled kindly. "Have you made sure that there are cakes in the Third Music Room for this evening? Kyouya-senpai is going to be in shock when he comes back and realises how much we've spent on treats right?"
She would have laughed only the idea of the shadow king adding any more to her debt was a shocking thought. She already had to get a thousand. She wasn't sure how much she had paid off already. She would have to look into that and make sure that the shadow king wasn't keeping it a secret that she had passed her marker, and making her work for free. She really wouldn't put it past him...

Hunny smiled when he saw it was Haruhi, who was probably making her way over to one of the english classrooms. She was like a big sister to him, even though she was younger. He didn't have a sister and he had always wanted one. He could also talk to her whenever Mori wasn't there.
He looked up at her with a big happy smile on his face. "Fancy meeting you here, Haru-chan!" he said happily, "I'm going well, and thankyou it would be nice to have your company before class starts". To answer her inquiery about the cakes, Hunny laughed happily and said "Theres still some that you got me the other day, but not much. Theres more comming in at lunch time, so we should be fully stocked by the time Kyo-chan gets back from his holiday".

Haruhi smiled. Hunny's obsession with cakes, though frustrating for Kyouya with their expense, was just one of the aspects of Hunny that made him the ultimate loli shota type for the girls at the Host Club.
Haruhi had never fallen for any of the members of the Host Club. Maybe it was her unique way of not really noticing the barriers between the genders. Or maybe it was simply because she knew the boys so well now that she was immune to their charms. Kyouya had hung her debt over her head from the very start- Tamaki had put her off by calling her gay. The twins were forever calling her "toy". Mori wasn't very talkative so it was hard to like him in that way- Haruhi was a firm believer in getting to know the personality of a person as well as what they look like and Mori kept his thoughts locked away from anyone but Hunny. And then there was Hunny... Who acted, in her opinion, a lot more like a little brother than a boyfriend potential.
She laughed at Hunny concern being the need for cake for when Kyouya returned. Haruhi was more worried about the amount of cake they had bought since he'd been gone. He would not be happy...
"I'm glad." Haruhi said. "We'll have to have cake to celebrate him coming back from that business trip right Hunny-senpai?" Hunny and all of the rest of the Host Club knew that Haruhi didn't really eat sweets. She didn't have a sweet tooth. But that didn't stop her from having cakes occasionally or otherwise simply watching and speaking with the others as they ate cake.
Suddenly Haruhi had a thought. "Now that Kyouya's coming back we'll be opening the Host Club again. Do you know if we're doing anything special or a certain cosplay in celebration? The shadow king wont be here to choose the theme so we'll have to curl Tamaki's enthusiasm a little." She whispered the last to Hunny, bending down as if it were a conspiratory secret between the two of them...
