Yellow, blue, green, grey. The only four colors that dominated the courtyard. Topaz eyes studied the bland scene below from one of the large windows that lined the third music room. It seemed like the same thing everyday, only broken by the random antics the Host Club pulled. Now that Hikaru thought about it, he couldn't remember what the last thing they had done was. Had it been the tropics? A garden party? That weird cosplay thing that Renge was always raving about? A thoughtful sound escaped the elder of the twins.
It was quite about time for a big scheme. He tore his gaze away from the moving dots outside to look for Kaoru. On first glance, the other 'Little Devil' wasn't there. Probably making Haruhi get more of the instant coffee they loved. Just the thought of the commoner drink brought a half grin to his lips. He silently praised the other Hitachiin for such an idea if that was, indeed, what the other man was doing. He sighed and got up to go look for the brunettes, stretching as he went.
He could only hope that they had remained in the Music Room so he could find them easily. Boredom had a way of making him feel lazier than usual. Plus, the lack of a recent prank was making him feel a little grouchier than he should be. Again, he hoped either Haruhi or Kaoru were in the room, hiding among the multiple yellow dresses that often filled this place. Sometimes he wished they would all just go away for once and flitter on with their own lives rather than take a way whatever peace the boys(plus one girl in disguise) got at the end of the day before returning to their seperate homes.

The door of the Third Music Room swung open and Haruhi walked in carrying a large brown bag full of instant coffee jars. As she turned to swing the door closed behind her, the bag tipped and she nearly dropped several jars onto the ground. In the knick of time she manage to catch one back in the bag and reach out to grab the other with a hand. Letting go of the bag with that hand however only served for the brown paper to rip and fouur jars to fall on the ground. Luckily the thick carpet stopped the jar from breaking and coffee granules going everywhere. Setting the bag on a nearby table she grumbled as she picked up the ones she'd dropped. As she set them onto the wood-grained surface she looked up and her chocolate brown gaze met the topaz eyes of one of the Hitachiin twins.
"Hikaru!" She said with a smile. Once again she was able to tell which twin it was, not only by the way they parted their hair but the ever so slight differences in their appearances, the quirks in their personality that made them ever so slightly different to her eyes. "Hello. I bought some more coffee. I know you and Kaoru like it, and we were running low. I also bought a box of cakes for Honey- is he here yet?" She had pulled a slightly dented box from the now torn bag and looked around suddenly realising that they were the only two in the room. "Oh, no. Well, I'll just put it in the snack cupboard then." She moved over to the room just off from the Third Music Room and placed the box in the cupboard within Honey's reach. She then went back and smiled at Hikaru.
Most people would have asked where Kaoru was, as the two of them were always together and as they were twins that "must always" be joined at the hip. Or at least some people thought so. Not Haruhi though. She knew that recently the two had been branching out on their own- doing seperate things. And yet that hadn't seemed to dent the relationship they still had with each other. It was nearly time to open up the Club room so she knew that everyone would be along in a little while, including Kaoru.
"Would you like some coffee Hikaru?" She asked, as she reached for one of the teapots on a side table.

((OOC: Hey! I noticed on your application that it said you've only seen the anime and not read the manga? I just thought you might be interested to know that there's a lot about Hikaru and Kaoru's feelings towards Haruhi in the later books, set after the anime. You know the episode with Haruhi's friend Arai? And her and Hikaru's "first date"? Well that progresses into Hikaru loving Haruhi whereas Kaoru realises that his feelings towards her are more of a brother-sister love. I'm DYING for more books to come out in english so that I can find out who gains Haruhi's love- Tamaki or Hikaru. Lol. Just thought you might be interested in checking out some of the later books and reading that... ^^. Sorry this post was quite short...))

The day was still young, and the day was still gorgeous. With all his glamour and delicate smile, Ouran's own pretty and popular swooner, Tamaki Suou entered the hallway towards the 3rd Music Room in glory. His intricately worn blue uniform with his adorable blonde shaggy hair complimented his near violet-blue eyes perfectly. That was why he was known as the "King" of the Host Club, always getting the most designations out of most everyone. Not only was he a handsome and well-recieved young man, but his soul was pure and kindred. This personality of his made him a very well-respected person by virtually everyone.
Tamaki stepped foward to the door of the 3rd Music Room and smiled, then pushing the door open. A flood of sunlight welcomed him and so did the beings of his dear friends. His beloved "daughter" Haruhi Fujioka and one of his loyal partners, Hikaru Hitachiin. Tamaki's mouth spread into a wide grin and he spread out his arms, happy to see them today. Kyouya was away on business therefore the club was temporarily closed for this week. He'd barely seen the others for the past few days either since he was indulged with the business affairs of his own family's heir.
"Ooh! Haruhi! Hikaru!" Tamaki said with great enthusiasm and walked in, his arms still spread out and grinning brightly. He did notice Kaoru wasn't here, but didn't pesterize on that subject. Also seeing the coffee set on the table, his ears perked and he joyfully sped towards where it stood and picked one up. "Oh! Commoner's Coffee! Haruhi, you remembered!" Tamaki's eyes twinkled. They had run out of it a few days ago... "Yes, yes, now then! Shall we all have some?" He smiled.

[[Hehe, Thanks Haruhi. I figured Hikaru would fully fall for her, but being that I had been in the middle of nowhere, I was unable to get the manga. I can now though. ^^ And personally ... I think it should be Hikaru and Haruhi. >>]]
Hikaru had been preoccupied with thoughts on where everyone was to noticed Haruhi's enterance. But it was hard to miss the bag ripping. He turned to see the jars falling to the floor and he shook his head. He smirked slightly as he looped over to the girl in disguise. The elder twin remembered well that her clumsiness was what landed her in their seemingly permenant presence. She had to work off her debt for that vase and that allowed him more time to spend with her -- a fact he knew bothered Tamaki severely. Oh well, more reason to pick on the elder Host's feelings while he figured out his own.
Hey, Haruhi, He greeted cheerfully. It was still amazing that she could so easily tell them apart. She was the only person, male or female, that was able to do that ... ever. This girl was certainly something special and had gripped his heart through their extensive amount of time together. He was grateful for it since though it made him feel a little weird when it was just the two of them. He didn't think she had the same feelings for him as he did for her.
The Hitachiin opened his mouth to answer her question about Honey, but she was able to answer it herself. He nodded slightly, a few strands of auburn hair falling in his eyes. He didn't move them but instead went to help her with a tea set to get the coffee ready. Yeah, I'd love some, He answered brightly. He almost wished that he was able to make it himself, but she was still the expert on all things 'common'.
He stood next to her and watched over her shoulder as Tamaki came in. Though his expression stayed the same, a small glint entered his golden eye when he realized what he was able to do in his position. Carefully, he pressed a little closer to the small brunette and put and arm around her, resting his hand on the table, effectively putting her between him and the coffee. As if he didn't realize what he was doing, he moved so his cheek was almost touching her's. Now, to wait for the grand show of Tamaki having a fit of him being too close.

Not long after Tamaki had entered the Thrid Floor Music Room, another figure followed behind, opening and closing the door silently as he slipped inside. Flipping a strand of auburn hair from in front of his eyes, Kaoru watched the scene in front of him. For a second, Kaoru's eyes zoomed in on the copious amounts of 'commoners coffee' that Haruhi had obviously just bought, and a smile creeped onto his lips.
As had seemed to become more and more of a habit lately, Kaoru had left his elder twin to his own devices and wandered off on his own. In search of what, though? Nothing in particular. Whilst the Hitachiin twins were still seen as 'stuck to the hips', they weren't as inseparable as they had been a year ago. Much had happened to them in the past year to help them change and delve into 'the outer world'.
"Hey Haruhi~!" Kaoru shouted from the doorway before starting a brisk, sliding walk to stand next to her on the opposite side from his twin, "Make some commoner coffee for me too!" He added, a huge grin plastered on his face as he sidled closer to Haruhi.

((OOC: Hey, we don't have a Mori yet, so umm... I wont put him in it for now, but if you want me to add him I will))
Mitsukuni Haninozuka of class 3A made his way down the corridor to the third music room. He usualy would be acompanied byhis cousin, Mori, but he was busy at Kendo club. The usual sound of "Awwww" and "Isn't he adorable?!" from the usual crowds of girls followed him as he went. He smiled to himself. He didn't mind if they saw him as cute. Tama-chan had told him back in the earlier days of the club that it was okay to be cute and like cute things. Like his Usa-chan for example, which he was carrying along now protectively. As he passed more of female crowds, he shyly smiled and looked away, leaving some of the girls swooning at his cuteness.
At last he reached the door to the third music room, where the Host club resided, reached the handle and walked inside. He took a deep breath in. The smell of this room always comforted Hunny. It smelled of tea, cakes, sweet things and friends. It bought back many happy memories of previous times.
He looked around and saw that Haruhi was already there, busily making commoners coffee, the twins standing either side of her, watching and Tamaki standing at the coffee table, carefully examining a jar of peasants grounded coffee.
"Hello everyone" he cried happily, placing Usa-chan on its usual chair by the coffee table. Then, eyeing off the instant coffee Tamaki was examining asked excitedly "You went to the shops, Haru- chan!?"

((OOC: Aah! One day and this thread has a million posts! Lol- when did THAT happen? Lol. Okay... must reply to people's posts...))
Haruhi didn't really notice Hikaru so close. She was used to the twins' preferrence of physical proximity, knowing that they just wanted to wind Tamaki-senpai up. Unsure why it bothered Tamaki she had just accepted it as part of his strange personality. She nodded and murmured affirmatives as each person asked for their "commoner coffee". Hikaru's behaviour put out of her mind she was busy counting how many cups were needed.
Carefully- it was a little difficult with Hikaru's arm around her but she knew that if she asked him to get off he wouldn't- she sthingyed some instant coffee granules into the right amount of cups and poured hot water. Adding sugar where it was needed- after a year she had become accustomed to which of the Host Club members possessed a sweet tooth when it came to coffee she added milk the right cups and then handed two to the twins. Tamaki and Honey, who were still standing nearer the door she turned to. Hikaru's arm slipped a little as she moved to lie more around her neck than her shoulders.
"Honey-senpai. Tamaki-senpai. Your coffee is made." Then she smiled warmly at them, her hair once more falling into one eye. Then she looked at Honey and answered his question.
"Yes I went shopping. There are cakes in the snack cupboard that I bought Honey-senpai." And then smiled even before his reaction. She knew he would be bubbling with the excitement at being surprised with cakes he hadn't had to buy or bring himself.
Gx ((OOC: Lol. Sorry about the slight gming with the arm thing Hikaru- like you I also wanna see Tamaki go mad. Lol. T'is always funny!! Lol... That was short, sorry. And is it Honey or Hunny? Only I've seen it spelt both ways and I don't know which is right... Lol))

Tamaki's spur about the coffee ended abruptly when he saw the fiendish villain, Hikaru wrap his arm around his daughter. Tamaki dropped his big goofy grin and loomed over Hikaru. The air began swirling around the three of them as Tamaki's face turned pale, then red then a strange murky color as he shouted at Hikaru. "AIEEE!! YOU LEECH, GET OFF MY DAUGHTER!!" Tamaki cried, freaking out. He jumped at Hikaru and began shoving his hands at Hikaru's face. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING???" The King shouted, feeling the purity of his daughter slip away. Kaoru then slipped in there as well and joined in on the fussing and Tamaki really flipped. "WAAH!! YOU TWO LEECHERS! GET OFF!" He spouted at the Hitachiin brothers.
Of course, as usual, Haruhi paid no heed to the twin's uncanny ways of roping themselves around her and she continued to make the coffee. Tamaki's face turned a crimsom red and he put both his hands on her shoulders, as if to shake her into waking up from the twin's perverted ways. "HARUHI! YOUR REACTION IS ALL WRONG! THOSE TWO--" Tamaki pointed aggressively at the twins. "-- ARE SEXUAL PREDATORS! ACT A LITTLE ANGRIER!" He cried.
Honey-sempai then entered the room with a chorus of "ooohs" and "aaahs" heard from the girls outside as he placed his pink bunny rabbit on it's usual chair and smiled cutely at everyone. Tamaki strayed from his freakout (though face still red and hands still on Haruhi's shoulder) to look over towards Honey. "Honey-sempai..." His greeting ended. He then looked over Haruhi's shoulder and saw the commoner's coffee. Haruhi then handed them both a cup and Tamaki graciously accepted, brushing away a lone tear. "Aahh, arigatou, Haruhi! I'll get to drink the coffee my own daughter made for her papa!" Tamaki said but then noticed the twins got coffee too.
Tamaki pointed at them angrily with thunderclouds around. "AIEE! WHO ARE YOU, DRINKING MY DAUGHTER'S COFFEE? VILLAINS!" He cried.

((OOC: ROFL!!! OMG! That was SO Tamaki!! I could SEE Tamaki in my head doing that!! Lol. *bows down in praise* That was ultimate Tamaki. You have my congratulations! Lol... Okay now to be typical Haruhi and pay no mind whatsoever...Oooh. Lets make Tamaki do his *solitary depression pose* in a corner... Lol.))
Haruhi rolled her eyes, and screwed the lid onto the coffee pot.
She wasn't sure where this family roleplay of father and daughter had come along- Tamaki had made it up at some point but how and why she didn't know. All it seemed to do was allow Tamaki an excuse to go beserk every time someone touched her, which if it was the twins was fairly often. They liked to wind Tamaki up and she couldn't say she blamed them. Though his regular change in emotions was exhausting to watch it was a little funny. But at the same time she always wondered what led to those random bursts of energy that revolved around her physical proximity to guys. His mind was a weird and wonderful thing, but at the moment it was annoying.
"It's just coffee Tamaki-senpai. No need to be so dramatic. And of course Hikaru and Kaoru get coffee. They asked for it- I couldn't refuse them because I unlike you who call them villians am not rude."
Then, with total disregard of the three of them she moved over to sit down next to Honey-senpai with her own cup of coffee. So much noise so late in the day... But she couldn't help a little inward glow light up inside her, even if it wasn't noticeable on the outside. This was the club she belonged to and loved. From Mori's strong and protective silentness and comfort to Tamaki's spurts of insanity. This was the Host Club, and she loved being a part of it.
Turning to Honey she said-
"Is Mori still in kendo class? Doesn't it feel weird not having him around?"

{OOC: = ^.^ = Thank you Miss Haruhi. I try.}
After not being able to garner a proper response from Haruhi to rip the twins to shreds, Tamaki sunk into a dark storm cloud and withered away to his usual solitary fetal position in the corner. Dark auras floated above the air of his head as he just sat there and occasionally glimpsed at Haruhi from the corner of his eye. "Taking their side..." He muttered inaudibly to himself without any real emotion and just stared straight ahead, with the imprint of almost seeing him peel petals off a rose seen.
[OOC: Terribly short. But I just really wanted to post this xD. Let's wait for the others to catch up, ok?]

((I spell it Hunny because its closer to his name ) Hunny stood by the table as the other host club members murmered their greetings to him. Harhi, who was still busy with making the coffee then handed a cup to Tamaki and him. Then, to answer his question about going to the shops, she said "Yes I went shopping. There are cakes in the snack cupboard that I bought Honey-senpai". Hunny's eyes widened to an even bigger size than they already were. With a cry of excitement, he went bobbed up and down, nearly dropping his coffee and hugged the busy Haruhi around the waist tightly "Thankyou Haru-chan!" He said quickly, before placing down the coffee and running to the cupboard to get plates, forks, and ofcorse some cake. As he carefully took a pile of valuable china plates from the cupboard, he could hear Tama-chan having his usual row about the twins. This time it was because Haruhi had made them coffee. Haruhi said afew words and Hunny saw Tamaki take his usual depressed possition in his usual depressing corner. "Tama-chan's sad corner" as Hunny liked to call it. Hunny came back to the table and offered around some of the marble-strawberry cake, before sitting next to Usa-chan and handing it a piece and starting on his own, which had a large strawberry. Not long after, Haruhi joind him, sitting at his other side. She asked him if Mori was still in Kendo class and if it felt weird without him. "Yes, Takashi is still at Kendo club" he answered, "he's been prety busy lately...thats why he hasn't been to our meetings so much" he said with a small frown. "Its kinda weird too, yeah. I'm used to having him around too instead of just me walking up that corridor with all those girls."

Haruhi had no time to return the hug Hunny bestowed on her as he ran off to get cake too fast. The boy really did have springs in his feet.
When he was back at the table and answered her question Haruhi smiled and reached out to touch his light hair.
"Don't worry." She said. "I'm sure he's working extra hard to get whatever it is that needs doing done quickly so that he can be back soon and have your company again. I know that your friendship means as lot to Mori-senpai. He'll be running back here as soon as possible wont he?" Haruhi put her finished coffee cup down and smiled at Hunny-senpai her face lighting up from the inside. "And then he'll be able to eat cake with us right Hunny-senpai?" Though Haruhi didn't eat cake she liked to sit with the others while they did so.
Looking up she spotted Tamaki still in his corner.
"Tamaki-senpai stop being silly and come and eat cake with us! You're making the room feel gloomy..."

[I think we need some order here in posting.
After my post here, how about Kaoru, Tamaki, Hunny, and Haruhi. If someone doesn't post in a couple days, we can skip then. This way everyone has a chance to stay caught up and not left out.]
The elder 'devil' smirked as his twin joined him in keeping close to Haurhi. He didn't have to look at the other Hitachiin to know that he would understand what was happening here. They were pretty much of one mind and always knew what the other was up to; that was what made everything so fun when it came out to pranks. Particularly ones that involved certain host club members.
Hikaru shouted as he was pushed away from the chocolate-eyed girl and stumbled back a few paces. It had been a reaction that he knew was coming, but he didn't have to like that he had been shoved. I'm no sexual predator, He muttered. At least I don't call the person I like 'daughter'. That's just creepy. The elder twin added under his breath. He straightened up and adjusted his jacket as Haruhi handed he and his twin their cups of coffee. He thanked her softly and stuck his tongue out at Tamaki, smiling widely as he took a long sip. How could he resist the chance to rub in how the female host was so kind to everyone, much to the King's dismay.
His amber eyes went to the small blonde that seemed to bounce in from nowhere somewhere in the middle of Tamaki's rant. At least someone is always nice and in a good mood, He commented, smiling slightly as the bunny carrying senior gathered his cakes and sat beside the pink animal. Languidly, he sipped at the coffee, watching the others in silence and inwardly laughing at how many times Tamaki made it to that corner in a single day.

OOC|| Sorry this reply took a while! And I quiver in fear at how short it is... ||
An innocent, indignant look reached Kaoru's face as Tamaki flipped, but the look quickly passed into a sweet smile as Haruhi passed him a cup of coffee. "Arigatou, Haruhi~" He quickly raised the cup to his lips and took a small sip as Tamaki went all teary-eyed over being served his 'daughers' coffee. "We're the villains?" He muttered under his breath, taking another sip of the coffee as Hikaru stuck his tongue out at Tamaki. Gulping down the coffee already in his mouth, Kaoru joined in. Neh~, he's so easy to wind up!"
As Tamaki huddled in his corner, stormclouds gathering around him in a thick fog, Kaoru leaned back and cast a glance at each of the Host Club members who were present, distantly wondering where the others were. Mori-senpai was still in Kendo club, but what about Kyoya? It was unusual for him to not be around to sort everything out, finances and Tamaki included.

Rosaya walked up yo the door of the music room and peeked in. She was trying to see if she could spot Hikaru and Kaoru but she couldnt see them so she swung the door open completely and stepped inside. It was the first time she was ever in this room so she just looked around.
