Haruhi Fujioka
Nickname: Hey! You can call me Gemstone Experience: I've been roleplaying for... 5 years. (Man, it feels like longer...) I also own 10 (or is it 11?) roleplaying sites- 6 of which are online at the moment, and am Head Girl/Global Moderator on... I forget how many. Lol. Watched the anime/Read the manga?: I've both read the manga and watched the anime. LOVED both. Roleplay Example: ((OOC: Okay I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use a scene from the anime but I will for now. If you want me to change it to an made-up scene then I will later.))
Everywhere was noisy. No-one ever seemed to shut up at Ouran High. Haruhi shook her head as she closed yet another door- this one leading to the fourth and final reading room.
"It's as if these rich kids are all here to gossip. What ever happened to learning in school." She muttered under her breath as she walked down corridors and up stairs. Surely there was somewhere somewhere in this school that wasn't over-run but giggling girls and arrogant rich kids? Somewhere that she could study quietly?
Sighing Haruhi tried not to notice the gaze of the other students on her clothing. It was true that she wasn't wearing the correct attire for an Ouran High School student but her and her father didn't have the money to afford clothing that wasn't a necessity. What she was dressed in was smart enough; why the need to spend thousands more yen on a uniform she would only need for four years?
She left the central building and the staring students behind her. It was quieter outside. The breeze was soft on her face and she jogged to the west building. Maybe there would be less people there... As she reached the alcoved walkway that led to the doors of classrooms she pushed her thick glasses up her nose. It was annoying to have lost her contacts yesterday. She has just been getting used to them. The thick frames felt heavy on the bridge of her nose, but she had to choice but to wear them. What was she going to do? Walk around, unable to see?
Inside the west building the floors were coated in the same thick red carpet. The kind that you shoes sunk softly into. Climbing a wide staircase she reached a door was a discreet sign hanging above.
Third Music Room.
Well, Haruhi couldn't hear any music coming from within. It must have been out of use. Maybe, she could sit amung the instruments and read in peace... Reaching for the handle, she pulled it down and pushed the door open.
As her face alone enter the room a chorus of male voices assailed her.
"Welcome!" They chanted.
Moving further into the room, she closed the door and looked around her.
There were no instuments in sight. There were however doors, so maybe they had been stored away. Instead there was a single gilded chair. In this chair and standing around it were a group of probably the most handsome men she'd seen in a long time. She openned her mouth to say sorry that she'd disturbed them when two of the boys- identical twins- spoke in unison.
"Eh? It's a guy..."
Haruhi wasn't offended. Most had taken her for a boy at this school. She didn't see how it mattered; boy or girl. As long as she worked hard at her studies and was kind to people it didn't matter. It was what was on the inside that counted.
All of the boys were staring at her and Haruhi suddenly realised that she might have stepped upon something she didn't want to. Backing towards the door she felt the handle under her hand. Surreptuously she started to let herself out. A deeper and sophisticated voice struck her but it wasn't a question directed her way. Instead, a dark haired boy with glasses was addressing the twins.
"Isn't this boy in your year Hikaru, Kaoru?"
"Yeah," came their reply. Both raised their hands in bewilderment. "But he never talks to anyone." said one. "So we don't really know him" said the other. Haruhi stopped trying to be discreet and started to make her escape. The dark haired boy spoke again.
"I believe this is Fujioka Haruhi, the scholarship student."
Haruhi paused.
"You, know my name?"
The one in the center, sitting in the chair suddenly jumped to his feet. His blue gaze seemed to light up as his blonde hair shifted with his movement then fell effortlessly back into place.
"What?!" He cried in a charming voice laced with excitement. "You're the scholarship student! That's amazing! A commoner in our school! You must be very studious!" He was now only a foot away from her staring intently at her face. Haruhi's feeling of impending doom and irritation escalated. A studious commoner eh? Suddenly the boy in front of her, who she vaguely recognised as being called Tamaki- most girls in the school talked of him- burst into a speech of fighting against the classes of society and how she had fought her way out of poverty. She frowned. Rich bastard. She didn't live in poverty. She just didn't have diamonds on her pockets. She siddled away. It was definitely time to make her escape. However, one thing that Tamaki said hit her in the back.
"I never expected the scholarship student to be gay."
Haruhi froze.
"G-Gay?" What was this group of people?
"So- what is your type?" Tamaki asked, pointing to the group who still stood around the chair. Haruhi, who was confused enough to be shocked into silence just stared. "The wild type? The loli shota type? The little-devil type? Or the cool type? Or maybe..." He was right in her face again. Suddenly he reached out and secured her head in his hands, on behind her head, the other under her chin. "...you'd like to try me? Wanna go?"
Haruhi backed off so fast she knocked a pedestal behind her. A vase that had been perched on the pillar tipped and fell. She reached and snatched at the handle, desperately trying to catch it but within a second the sound of breaking china filled the air and it was in pieces on the floor.
Haruhi felt as if her body had just gone into shock. How was she going to pay for this?!
"Aaah." Came two voices in unison as she looked around to find the twins looking from her to the vase. "That was to go in the in-school auction? We were going to get about 8 million yen for that."
8 MILLION YEN??!!
Haruhi smiled weakly unable to say anything. The dark haired one who had now got out a folder and pen was staring intently at the forms in front of him.
"What do you propose Tamaki?" Haruhi felt a cold flood over her followed by her hot flush. What was she going to have to do...?
"When in Rome... Do what the Romans do." Tamaki said. "If you owe something... Work it off." He pointed straight at Haruhi. "From now on you are the Host Club's dog."
Host Club...? Dog...?
Haruhi looked around at the group. They were all attractive, all different, and all staring at her. She swallowed. At least they all thought she was a boy...
Mother in Heaven... She thought, I think I am in big trouble...
((OOC: Hope this is okay! ^^))
